Welcome to the new and improved CWBA website! I am thrilled to see the website up and running. The website will allow us interact with each other much more easily and allow for you to sign up for events online. The purpose of the CWBA is to encourage and support the advancement of women in the law. The Women’s Bar is extremely active. Much of its activities are carried out by 8 different committees which committees include public policy, judicial, and convention. I encourage you to become more involved by joining a committee. This is the best way in which to learn more about the Women’s Bar and to make social contacts. The CWBA is a great resource for younger attorneys to find mentorship and to network with other attorneys. It is a resource for experienced attorneys to stay abreast of current issues in our legal community and to stay in touch with colleagues. We have and can continue to accomplish much as a 600 member organization. I encourage you to join online if you are not a member and to renew your membership if you are a current member.
